I got a missed call from 206-567-3943 as well as when I called back only heard the end part of the ".. Magic Talk number." message. Was wondering if it was one of my overseas friends using some VOIP to call me or not. Thanks for helping confirm this!
I received a call from the same number also claiming that I owe money from a payday loan company and know I never took out a loan. Initally the call came from a 206 567-3943. I called the number back and it gives me a wierd message saying "welcome to Magic Talk and to give them the Magic Talk number." When I asked them for their address the caller refused to give me the information. He said he was not authorized to give out that information but then a few seconds later rattled off an address but was unwilling to repeat himself because he purposely said the information to fast. He along with another caller are from Indian descent and are very rude!
I thought this was a scam and after reading the comments I see that it is. I may retain an attorney to deal with this matter because I don't want them calling me and I have no intentions of paying them!
I am getting calls at my place of employment from a James Parker stating that I owe someone some funds and I need to pay as soon as possible or legal actions will be taken against me. He spoke to my Manager regarding my personal matters. He will not send me any documentation but wants me to fax him a statement that I will agree to pay the account to freeze the pending law suit. He told me I could use a debit card or western union him the funds but he would not give me the information via fax nor email. He called me several times in a matter of minutes, demanding that it is urgent and needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.

I received a call from 206-567-3943 requesting my email address to send me an inquiry for a vacation rental I own in another state. The caller said that the VRBO website was not letting his client send an inquiry email for dates in June and July. When I stated the website was working find he continued to press for my email address and contact number. I said I would not provide this information and for his client to use the VRBO site.
