caller ID said HERO PROGRAM but the caller just kept saying "oi ... oi" (like "hey... hey", like pretending he couldn't hear me) then asked for some name that is not connected w this phone #. When I politely said "what number are you calling" in case it was a real wrong number, he said "oi .... oi" then disappeared (but didn't hang up). Must be the department of the criminal telemarketers whose job it is to just find out if a phone number is good.
He called and wanted to speak to the owner of the house. I told him I was on the Do Not Call List and he asked me for my Do Not Call List I.D. so he can take me off their list. I said there was no such thing and he insisted there was, and that he cannot take me off their list unless I provided that number. I told him that was bogus and that I was going to hang up on him now, and I did. Blocked the number.
