we've gotten several calls from 213-270-6717. no one's there and it hangs up. all we know is the area code is Los Angeles.....wonder if they're pinging IP address on digital phones????? annoying as hell.

I just got a call from that same # and googled it to see if I could figure out who it is. It is very annoying. But what you can do if it happens again is dial *57 right after, and it will report it to your local phone company- after they have 3 succesful traces for this number it will be reported to law enforcement. But I do have to warn most phone companys charge about $2 for each trace. Also I just called the number back and it is for a company called 'capitol mangement company'.
