I just freaked out at my husband for this amdb charge- and then after I looked into it more carefully it is actually a charge used for multiple purposes on the internet. Many companies perform transactions via this amdb site. Turns out the charge for us was for a tool belt and insurance on an airline ticket. Don't freak out people.
can you please tell which companies you know of use this AMBD? AMBD say they have 200 companies they take payments for but can't say which ones upon request.... and they claim they don't do transactions for ashley madison ???
Just to help you all out the fees for Ashley Madison as of 2/2012 run like this; $249, $149, $79. When you first start they charge and additional new member fee that they say is an 800 calling service of around $10 to $20. They occasional run a "try it for only" sale of $49.
If you are married and you see a $249, $149 or $79 then your spouse is beyond a new member since they are not being charged that extra fee anymore. They are basically buying credits to use to chat and send messages and pics to other cheaters in your area, and when you sign up with a credit card they say you will be "Decreetly billed" . The site promotes people having an affair, so if AMDB pops up on your credit card, and your married, you spouse it actively looking to cheet on you.
If your single, some cheater stole you credit card #.

I did find charges on our credit card for $79 and $20 I know they are for Ashley Madison ,but am not clear on what these seperate amounts are for .My husband said the 79 was to sign up and the 20 was to cancel ,both amounts were made on the same day.
