Male caller with a thick accent. Said he was from Microsoft "something" hard to understand. Said he needed to verify that I was the owner of my Microsoft computer. Well that made no sense to me. So I repeated back to him what he had said and then asked him how he would know if "I am the owner of my Microsoft computer" and what was this call for. With me questioning him a couple of times he got frustrated and hung up.
I had gotten a call from my cell phone which I have not given the number out to anyone except family & real close friends. I want to know who is calling my cell ALL the time.
I received a call today (11/07/13) from (213) 271-1645 (called ID says Los Angeles, CA). A man with a very thick accent told me that he was from Microsoft and that my computer is registered with Microsoft. Microsoft noted that my computer has been running slowly over the past 2 days, and he wanted to help me fix the problem. He told me to sit in front of my computer and he will show me what's causing my computer to run slowly. I told him that I was busy and to call me later.
I got a call from 213-271-1645. Caller ID says Las Angeles, Calf. The guy starts telling me he is from microsoft and that my e:mail has been loading viruses when I open it. He continues to talk and I continue to ask him how he knows. He won't shut up so I said DA just shut up and answer my question. He starts cussing me and then is when I really unload on him and beg him to give me an address where I can come kick his [***]. These people have to be be put behind bars!!! Why spend our tax dollars on all this stupid stuff and make the guys in Washington rich. I say lets clean house at every election until they start listening. Everyone in over one term becomes a manipulator to the system. This is TRUTHFUL as spoken.
This number calls me constantly!!! Numerous times a day! I have asked them over and over to remove my number to no avail because they keep calling!!! I have been registered with donotcall.gov annually and these dam* numbers keep calling!! I am so fed up with it!!! They should be held accountable for not complying!!!
