Just got a call (I'm in San Diego) no message 3 of us all on the same day. I have disputed account from 5 years ago. It started out at $65.00 and is now 7 or $800.00 All interest charges. I'm thinking maybe it was turned over to someone to collect or settle and they get a percentage....just a guess
You're wrong Slim. Online poker for real money is not against the law in the US - whoops. Here is an explanation: http://www.rakeback.com/americas-cardroom/legal-to-play-in-usa/
Now if I'm not a shill for that number/site (which I'm not) then how could I possibly give you the information that you're asking for? I think we can both agree that that doesn't make even a little bit of sense. It's like saying: "ok, if you're not part of some government conspiracy, then give me details on how you covered up alien encounters". If you're wondering how I know they're well-respected, well, that's because I've played on the site for years (as have many high roller friends) and know them to be honest and responsive to even the smallest customer concerns.
With the various suspicious calls that have been received here, I have made it a practice to treat ANY and al calls from unfamiliar numbers to be a potential scam.
