I received a call from this number out of Los Angeles, CA. I didn't recognize it so I did not answer. They left a message saying they were the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me and to please call them back to arrange payment options. I am sure this is a scam. The call said it was my final notice. I have not received any other calls or mail about it and I do my taxes like I am supposed to. Has anyone else gotten this call?
My husband keeps getting this same caller - also claiming its the IRS - that he is being sued. SCAM! The IRS does not call people out of the blue to tell them they are being sued- they send notifications via registered mail
