Who called from 2132837941

Received a text from this number.  That's a new twist!  The message read, "Hello, this is john Matthew from from debt collection agency.  There is a law suite file against you by the cash advance which is a parent company the amount pending on your name which is $1986.31.  If you want to resolve this matter than Respond ASAP at (213) 283 - 7941"  Poor "john" must have an inferiority complex as well as being somewhat illiterate.  My response was, "You must be high".  I actually received a response!  It was, "$1986.31 is including court fees, late fees, document charges So if you failed to pay at least $400 till Monday then we Released your Arrest Warrant from here"  My response was, "Bring it on".  There were no further replies.

I received the exact same message yesterday. I didn't respond to it.

I received 3 texts stating the following: "02/03 going to release on Friday evening 4pm. Warning is under civil procedure rules. You can reach us to 213-283-7941 please reply me back as soon as possible." "03/03: on this email [email protected]." "01/03: FINAL NOTICE, we are trying to reach you since couple of days regarding your unpaid due of $1986.31 find your WARRANT COPY in your email which will be" I called the # and they tried to state that I had an unpaid payday loan from 2012 which is not true and he started threatening me so I hung up

I just got an email from this number telling me I was gonna have a warrant out for my arrest and send me a warrant from Los Angeles County Attorney.  They did not even have the right address for the County Attorney.  And the number was not even their number.  I reported him.

I just received one today.  Here is the exact text:
Hello, This is john matthew(yes it was in lower case!) from American Credit Union. You have been approved for the loan amount in the ratio of $1,000 to $10,000.  So how much amount would you like to borrow?  You can reach us directly on (213)283-7941 OR You can also Email us on [email protected]  We are expecting your call ASAP.   Thanks & Reguards,  Sr. Superior, JOHN MATTHEW.

This almost reads like some of the Nigerian scam letters!  Thanks to everyone else who posted.  Also I could not find any business under American Credit Union.
