I just got three calls in a row from this number (2/12/09 7:30am). The caller hung up two times, then the third time I spoke w/ someone. The connection was bad, and I had a hard time understanding through the thick accent. The caller said he was calling from Cameroon (Africa). Since this is the known hotspot for adoption frauds and scams, and the call was on my "adoption hotline", I told him not to call again.
Today I just got 2 calls form this number and they said, they do not speak English only Spanish. I told them I am tracking them and was with the FBI. I have a special tracking device and the # is coming from CA. Note, the number is a computer device like a magic jack or something similar.
I am on it and will work to end these ridiculous calls.
I just received a call at work from this number. WHen I call it back, they say your number cannot be completed as dialed. I get these on a regular basis, WHO AND WHAT IS THIS????
You people have way too much time on your hands... I think the "wrong" number was possible the most exciting thing that has happend to you all week... Was for me :)
