"Mark Gibson" called from the "Legal Department" (didn't say which legal department) to say a legal action was taken against me and they could provide a lawyer. Could hardly understand his heavy Indian or Pakistani accent.
Beware of the 213-289-3777; caller Ryan Gibson or David Williams claiming from Dept. Of Legal Affairs, US Treasury. He claimed that my husband owed the IRS and their law firm is involved to let my hubby know that a warrant of arrest will be issued today, unless the minimum amt of $2000 is paid OVER THE PHONE to hold off the said warrant of arrest. I reported the call to the authorities and have filed a report.
Also, the male caller/s have a heavy Indian accent - one thing that I have consistently read on the scam caller's description after googling the number & name.
his name is ryan gibson claiming he is from dept of legal affairs to call him immmediately. well i have not done this but i looked the number up and found this page
