i am a day sleeper i drive a truck down the hwy's. how many out there want a sleepy truck driver rolling on the same rd as you? it takes time and distance to stop 40 thousand pounds on a good day. bad day?
Many of the scammers are calling from foreign countries where scamming dumb Americans is not illegal and local police do not cooperate with US law enforcement.
The technology of phones and computer has advanced so far that making a call half way around the world is as easy as making one across the street. It isn't possible to block international scam calls without accidentally blocking international business and personal calls not related to scams.
I suggest you turn off or unplug your phone when you are trying to sleep. Another idea that works for cell phones and smart phones is to set your default ring tone to "silence" or "no ring" when you are sleeping. You can identify a few people who are allowed to wake you up and set their ring tones to something that makes a noise.
i answered and it is the "free trip to Orlando". tried to call back to tell them to take me off list and message "this number is no longer in service" like everyone else's report here. so flipping annoying. i rarely answer my phone but once in a while i do.
Called about vacation deals and it was a recording that identified no specific company. I didn't answer but it went to my voicemail & the recording started immediately. Recording was saying to push this button right away for this deal, call them within 20min to qualify and so on. All BS. To push 9 to be put on their "do not call list"- point is Im on the National "Do Not Call List". Another number Blocked.
In the "Type of Call" below, why don't you have the option SPAM or FRAUD or something along those lines???
