I got the same phone call today i live in washington state. He left voicemail and i returned the call. He then told me i owed 1500 doalllrs that needed to be paid in full today. I of course told him no, and at that point he told me he was gonna contact the local irs agent and have a warrant put out for my arrest for "Stealing from the govenment"
Obvious scam. They IRS always contacts taxpayers via US mail unless you have called them and asked for a call back or are already working with them on a tax issue. You can report this call at the number in paragraph 4 of this link:
