SCAM - steve martin, gary Walton, kevin whats his name. Spoke to all three - indian from india accents, difficult to understand. looking for money from past taxes. when I asked that they send me by mail the breakdown of how the miscalculation was figured out, they hung up.
Got the same call. same mumbo jumbo. Told him I was in jail for 30 days and could he wait for a month for me to pay. He said ok, but do not call IRS or they will come and arrest me! Gave me a different name than he used earlier. Same number. What a jerk! Must think I just fell off the turnip truck.
Received 4 calls in the past hour from Steve Martin demanding a return call for legal action taken against us. It was a taped call with 2-3 recordings. There have been several calls in our area made by this guy. Several people have reported this scam on their blogs. Very annoying, I called the police to report the number.
