If you have a smartphone get the app called ignore call. Set your settings to hangup, set notification to silent. Do this for all numbers you want blocked. You can even set just area codes like 800, 877, 866, etc. Ahhhh peace. And I just smile.
A guy named "mark garcia, employee id 7123" said I won a $200 gift card for Target, Walmart or Home Depot and all I needed to do was give him my credit card for shipping and handling. I asked him for the name of his company and customer service number to validate, he claimed that he could only give me the information after he input my credit card information into the computer system. When I said nevermind, he told me they were not allowed to charge more than shipping and handling and if so, my credit card company would protect me. When I said no again, he asked me if I could really afford to miss out on this $200. When I said again politely that I no longer wanted the gift card because I didn't trust him/them, he claimed the call was recorded and they were backed by BBB. Finally I raised my voice and said NO I'M DONE WITH YOU, I DONT WANT IT, then he simply hung up on me.
I am getting very annoyed with this company they call me 10 times in 2 days. I have been added to there do not call list and they still are calling. How do I get them to STOP!!!!
This same phone number called me 4 times today. I'm getting sick of it. Even if you call the number back, you get an automated service (that sounds shady) and it gives you the option to put your number on the "do not call" list. I tried that, we'll see how it goes after 24 hours. It didn't even list the so called "company name".
I have recived seven missed calls from the number 213-289-5579 in the last 36 hours. Some marketing company. I would like them to stop calling, and have followed their instructions for being placed on their do not call list. Very annoying!!!!!!
