I answered a call since I receive calls at work and I cannot ignore. I have "won a $100 gift card." They just "need a credit card to pay the $14.95 shipping." I explained I will not give my credit card to someone who called me. I am not stupid. That is how con artists get information and charge tons of stuff to the victim's card. I will just answer and place the phone down so I don't have to listen to the lies.
These idiots have called 8 times in less than 3 hours today. Want to send a gift card that can be used at Walmart etc. The ONLY CATCH is they want a cc # to charge the S&H charge. What a scam. I told "Jasmine" that if they wanted to send the card send it and I would be happy to pay the S&H COD. But NO WAY was she getting a credit or debit card number from me AND if they called again my NEXT call would be to the authorities. I hope they will stop, will see. Caller ID says FRM Program.
This is in addition to previous post. "Jasmine" spoke with an accent (could have been Indian, not sure) and also said she was with someplace called "Saving Source". Googled it and they exist but they will give ANYBODY a web site so that means nothing.
213 289-5584 kept calling me, i answered, the girl on the line said i was getting a $100 gift card from VISA for being a valued customer. i asked what the catch was, she said NO CATCH. But she said I would have to pay the $4.99 shipping fee!... I told her Take my name and number ( she had the info when she called) off of her list cause it was a scam! if i really won something I should not have to pay anything for it! It's just another way for us to be scammed!
