I posted in ad to sell a Mackage winter jacket on Kijiji Montreal and this number sent me a text message saying if I can send the item to a relative in West Africa using PayPal, the person also said that they will offer an additional $300 for the shipping fees. First off, who the hell needs a winter jacket in Africa?!? Second, my friend told me of a time this had happened to her, so I remembered. Obviously a scam, I wonder how many people are actually dumb enough to fall for things like this...
Same thing - wedding gown on kijiji - would pay me an additional $300 to ship to South Africa. I asked for email transfer and was told no - only paypal. Scam scam scam!!
