fed up...nice post yes portfolio was tab at being the worst collection agency but i will say something good about them they must of been fined heavily.. now when they call me they give there name the name of the company and they read me the new law about the debt is timed barred..they did improve a little bit and i mean a little bit
This is in fact a debt collection agency. They contacted me in the state of California regarding an old school loan from 2008 that was closed out and paid in full. But they were trying to collect for an amount that wasn't even due. The original creditor was Everest College in Anaheim. Here is all their information:

FNCB has a long history of illegally making automated calls to cell phones. This is currently the subject of a class action lawsuit, however you may sue on your own for $1500 per violation.

FNCB has been known to use many phone numbers, using a fake caller id such as "LOCAL OFFICE", in an attempt to disguise its identity.
