I just missed this call on my cell phone.
I used a landline to call the # back.
I got a busy signal.
I tried again, but dialed out the whole number (including area code) and it said my call could not be completed as dialed.
Call to my ex-wife from this number searching for me, saying he had a court summons, which is strange since the number is from Los Angeles and the summons in Oregon. I haven't been in any trouble, my vehicle is current and insured and my driver's license is valid, so, if it were real, they can come knock on my door. If it is legit, I would deal with it. If it isn't legit, they better be prepared to deal with me.
Do not expect anyone to show up. This is a typical scare tactic used by bottom feeders. Real process servers do NOT warn you - they show up unannounced.
Received the same call to serve document that had been refused....Along with an attorney call from 8559680698 - for a civil complaint that we could take care of before it went to court. On a phone number that few people have and even fewer would use on a document.
Call themselves a "law office" but won't ID the law office. Guy who answered absolutely refused to give me any information. Got into it with him. Basically I'd ignore and block these calls. Just looks like a debt scamming operation to me.
