I just received a text from this number inquiring about a cow I posted for sale on Craigslist but just referred to the cow as an item, which is very strange... "Good Morning To You Hope This Item Still Available For Sale..." then they quoted the title of my Craigslist posting. I'm onboard with the theory that this caller is a scammer...
i got a text from an ad i posted on craigslist for a car i am selling. the person claims they will buy my car, send a check in the mail from bank of america and then send someone to pick up the vehicle. they wanted my address. I DONT THINK SO BUDDY! please dont fall for this scam.
I guess this same person is still at it. I just cannot see why anyone would purchase a "cheap" car and then pay even more money to have is shipped across the country. I may lose the sale but I would rather do so than to lose my car.
same just happend to me march 1 2013, i had my chevy caprice for sale on craigslist for $1100 and this guy is willing to pay more then what the car is worth to have it shipped, i looked up the phone # and it brought me here thanks for posting guys, because i dont see how some one will buy a car not knowing how it runs/drives/looks ect.. SKETCHY if you ask me DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! im going to call and see what they have to say you cant trust people now adays if they dont have cash in hand its not for sale to many phonies out there today.
