I received a harmless text inquiry asking if I do deep tissue massage. I texted back my booking link so he could schedule an appt to suit his schedule. I followed up after a couple days since I didn't see his booking. That is when the scam began.
Person is claiming to be in the hospital being treated for hearing impairment at first then switches to lung cancer later in the convo, wants to book 10 appointments over 2 days for his construction crew staff promising if I do a good job I will see them 2-3x/ month. Also asks for a favor, to charge his card $2900.00, take my fees plus $150 tip and give the rest to the driver of his crew. He would have "paid his driver in advance but" asked me to bear with him since he is in the hospital. He wouldn't answer my questions or give me the info I requested regards email, which office he wanted his staff seen in etc. He gave the credit card info as:
