I'd emailed an organization called the Illumination Foundation, which is totally legit. A few hours later, I got a voicemail from a woman claiming to be from the Illumination Foundation. Saved it to my voicemail, tried to reply, and when I tried to call back, I got my outgoing message! Weird! I just re-read my former posts, and now they must be hacking IF's site or something. Not good!
3/20 14:?? Called cell phone and left message but volume so low, unable to really hear or understand what he was talking about. Really don't give this number out so totally resent any calls to number. Odd part is that message was left from 213 # but the caller # appeared to be 800-312-2019, which appears to be an invalid phone number. What does all of this mean?
I just got a voicemail from this number, female voice was indistinct, checked it on whitepages.com, they say it's an AT&T mobile phone. Whitepages also says moderate spam activity suspected from this number. One of the commenters, named Pam, claimed it was her phone number and she wasn't running a scam. Another poster said someone's using a Magic Jack to cover their tracks. I'm amazed that device is still legal and sold on TV.
