Message said IRS was suing for tax fraud, clearly a scam; called number twice and got several names, all had foreign accents, possibly Indian: first time I spoke with "Jeffrey Tribiano" (who is actually the Deputy Commissioner of Operations for the IRS); second time, spoke with "Officer Mary Watson" and then "Senior Investigation Officer Danny Green". Officer Green wanted me to go immediately to the bank and withdraw cash, but hung up after I asked too many questions.
Received 2 voice messages from this number within hours of each other. Both messages said that the IRS is suing me. Yeah, right....whoever came up with this scam is an idiot.
