They call and ask for my husband. When I tell them he is not home they say they will call at another time. I tried "free" reverse look up but they want .95 to reveal name. So much for free
Don't bother with reverse lookup: there's a very good chance the number is faked on your caller ID. Trying to call it might either yield a "number not in service" message or a constant busy signal or an answering machine with useless "suggestions" to press 1 or 2 or 9 or whatever, none of which do anything other than validating your own phone number as a valid number that can be scammed over and over.
Stop answering and don't ever call back. Also consider a call blocker.
