Answered and got a prerecorded message from "Dave, from an authorized Dish Network retailer in your area." Reported to FTC and shot off another e-mail to Dish Network informing them that their "authorized retailers" are cold-calling people on the Federal DNC list and that I have reported them yet again to the Better Business Bureau for illegal, not to mention just plain annoying, business practices.

I got the "Hi, I'm Dave..." and actually pressed one to hear just what the "lowest rates in the country" were these days. I spoke to a surly operator who gave me rates much worse than DirecTV. I told her the recording had promised the lowest rates which is when she turned nasty. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she hung up. I got their # from *69 and it was a recording that said if I wanted to be taken off the list I should press 1. Pressing 1 just returned me to the original outgoing message.
