calling that i had my credit card stolen and the person wont tell you who they are or what agency they are calling from. when i typed the number into google it was burger king. DONT PICK UP THAT NUMBER.
These people called with an unsolicited, pre-recorded message that did not provde the name and phone number of the originating organziation (this may be a violation of federal telemarketing laws). They claimed to be the Public Service Group: Advocacy for Public Health Care and were offering a Health Coverage program for less than $100 per month. Can't identify the company and have to way to reach them... that raises the yellow flag that this may be a less than legitimate telemarketing offer. I filed a complaint with the FCC at https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/1088cform.do and will do so for any additional calls from this phantom telemarketing scammers... suggest you do
It says "Team Support" on the caller id. When you call the number back there is an automated system that says if you would like to have your number removed from our calling list please enter it now.
I received a call from this number at 13:00 hours 6 May 08. It produced an automated message about a prescription discount service that asked me to input my area code in order to be removed. I am getting this kind of spam all of the time in email and now on cell (even though I am on a "do not call" list. Are these companies getting a pass on this kind of behavior because of their lobbying and fund of Congressman. It makes you wonder!
