I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a voicemail -- I wouldn't be surprised if it's political because I HAVE been getting a lot of calls lately about the mayor's race, school board, etc. -- either way VERY annoying. It's the fax number for the LA County Federation of Labor AFL/CIO. It was probably a personal campaign phone call from Stephen Colbert to get out the vote.
They keep wanting to do a survey. I won't talk to them, and they aren't willing to talk to my wife (who loves playing with surveyors' minds). We're both registered with the same political party, so if they are doing a survey the criteria is men only.
If they're saying they're doing survey and are actually a political organization, there's likely nothing I can do since the rules are written by politicians to allow political organizations to do anything they care for.
