Someone from this number called me all day. I did not answer. They called 4 times. When I called back, they asked for my name. I asked why they were calling. They claimed if I did not tell them my name they couldn't help me. I said they have been calling me all day and asked what they wanted. They said if I couldn't tell them my name, then to "F### off". So, I called them back two more times to try to get to the bottom of the reason of why they called me. Hopefully they won't call back. I don't know anyone with an accent from a country like India in the greater L.A. area.
I have been getting anonymous phone calls over the past few years. When I confront them, they always hang up. I always tell them to take me off their lists, but they hang up as I request it. I have even had fraudulent calls from people claiming to be from a certain government department. When I tell them that department does not exist, they hang up. A lot of scammers out there, just trying to protect myself. Anybody know how I can stop getting these calls? Thank you.
