You've had an answering machine for years; it's 2016, time to purchase a call blocking phone (Panasonic) or a call blocking device that can block entire area codes (D*gitone). Check Amazon.

The instruction above asks everyone to "help identify" our nuisance callers. It does not tell us to dump-and-run the same "I blocked 'em with this brand of device" post on every thread, which has been the primary activity seen from "jetames" up there.
I think I comprehend the purpose of this kind of site far better than either you or the OP. It is not served by endless iterations of "blocked 'em, ignored 'em". It is not served by kneejerk assumptions and reading invisible things into critical remarks about misuse of this site.
As to my perceived mood, this is merely my tone of annoyance. You haven't seen my angry one yet.
