I reported this to FBI, and consumer report bureau over a month ago . And to what i see they haven't done anything since they keep doing it. Its a shame.
This number is from lawyers? But I can't get information of any kind but that it is in L.A. I beleive it is a
scam. They claimed that my mother-in-law owes $987.00 in herbs that was sent to her and that if she
didn't pay this they would file the courts on 03/12/2011 and would be owing $4500.00. I maybe from a hick town in Washington state but I am sure no lawyer works or makes house calls on a saturday.
We also recieved a call from this number, they were trying to intimidate us, saying that we owed like 5000. and that if we dont take care of this withing 2 hours cops will come over to our house and our belongings will b taken away and also that if we are no legal immigrants they will call immigration on us. And they wouldnt give us more information, so no idea what they r talking about, please b careful this might b a scam !!!!
I also received a phone call from this number and the same herb story. Saying that if we did not pay them $49000 they would come to our home and take our belongings. The herbs accoriding to them were shipped last year via fedex and had signature on file for receiving the shipment. I have contacted attorney generals office in regards to this call.
My husband recieved a spanish phone call from this number and they told him that I had ordered some [***] from Ingles sin Barreras ( spanish material to learn english ) and that i had not paid or made any type of payment arrangements and that they were lawyers calling from california representing that company, therefore if we didn't pay $ 49,000.00 in two hours they were coming in our home with the police and taking all our belongings plus repo our home. I called them and ask Julian to call me at work ( supposed lawyer ) when he did i told him off and ask he fax information to my home where my husband and our lawyer were waiting for the " embargo " that was suppose to take place in two hours if we didn't pay $ 49,00.00 i called them S.O.B. were waiting know and he asked for my lawyers name and number and when i refused to release any information whatsoever he became very upset and hung up on me. I called the police, Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commision in
Washington D.C
The same exact thing just happened to us and they say that they will come into our home tommorrow and repo all of our things. The supposed Julian wont give us any information on payment, or even where his office is located. He wont give us his licence number or any basic information. What did you do?
