Received a call on 6/20 from this number. The caller ID showed the name as Starnet. When I answered the call, the lady identified herself as being from the Disadvantaged Workers of America and asked if I wanted to make a small purchase. I politely said no thank you, there was silence and then I say good bye and hung up.
In the past, I had purchased items from Disadvantaged Workers of America as well as the Handicapped and Diabled Workers of America. Once you buy, you are on their solicitation list but they put you on their list to call in 2 years or so.
Funny thing is that I got a call 2 months ago from 562-334-0196 stating that they were from Handicapped Workers of America and that they work off of several solication lists - Disadvantaged Workders of America is one of those lists. The lady tried to tell me that I owed them from a purchase I made in 2010 plus monthly late fees. This is a scam. Check out this other number to see more reports.
It really is sad because I had made purchases in the past. After reading all the complaints, I will never help them out!
