Telltale "bwip" when I picked up that it is likely a transferred number and eith a spoof or scam. No voice answered but I could hear background noises, Call was followed within 7 minutes by the "Fraternal order of the LAPD" - which I have been told is NOT the LAPD, but some organization that collects funds supposedly for them. It is BS. Their scam # is 213-943-2953. If you want to donate to your local police, call them directly and ask where to send a donation. Evey PD is different. Some use the Police Protective League, others, Police Benevolent Assoc,, etc,
I don't know why we report these calls to your website, you guys don't do anything to stop these people. This is not the only website that does nothing.
