Does anyone know whether AT&T still offers the option of blocking ALL calls and requiring the caller to input a code (usually *xx") to get through? I know this was an available option in the 80s and 90s...
Try being preemptive and aggressive in your blocking. Review where you have family, friends and business associates. Then I would go about reviewing where most your scam calls come from (NY, Wash. DC, big cities...etc) . Depending on your blocker, I would start blocking entire area codes or ranges of numbers, why piddle around with single numbers. Also block toll free area codes if you do not need them. This method may not work for every one-but think about it. Review your blocker instructions and be creative-think outside of the box.
10/01/16 24:14 PDT Tried to call just now, with an ID of only Los Angeles CA, although several people and business in the area, I figure if it is important, they will leave a message. Since they didn't and the other reports are negative, will block this number.
Bothered my wife and I while we were eating lunch on Saturday. No message left. Gee, please call back and I'll stop eating so you can steal my financial information from me, please please PLEASE???
