Received a call this morning , but no message left. I know there is a lot of scam calls going on right now. If you get a call claiming they are from the IRS, please report it!!!
You can file a complaint using the FTC Complaint Assistant; choose “Other” and then “Impostor Scams.” If the complaint involves someone impersonating the IRS, include the words “IRS Telephone Scam” in the notes.
Remember, too, the IRS does not use unsolicited email, text messages or any social media to discuss your personal tax issue. For more information on reporting tax scams, go to www.irs.gov and type “scam” in the search box.
Robot claims 'IT' is calling from the IRS and IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. IT also says the call is a Final Notice, even though the scammers called from a Delaware number yesterday. 302-264-6145.
IT left the same exact message.
These scammers are outrageous. We here know they're scammers, but there are others who do not. A few people from our area fell for the morons. Result, they were screwed out of money.
Ironically, Caller ID reads: Wireless Caller, via both CA and DE numbers.
I see these idiots were busy this morning. Wonder how many other victims they called, that don't visit this page.
