Lots of background noise, after a minute or so, a live representative spoke and wanted to know if I were the primary owner of my computer. I hung up on him. The tech support scam is already played out, and I am sure if I stuck with it he would have done the usual routine of walking me to the event viewer and pointing out all the errors that were caused by whatever imaginary issue that they wanted to sell me protection for.
Called said they were Microsoft windows and I have a virus on my computer and he wanted to help. So I asked for his Microsoft badge number. He said nothing. I told him Microsoft window would not be calling. I told him is scam is weak leave people alone. He got argumentative and rude with me. I asked for badge number again as well if he could send me a email through his employee email account. Hr said he would call back later.
