I keep receiving calls from 213-504-7154. When I pick it up to try to get them to stop calling, they say to Press 1 to talk
with someone about senior citizens. When I Press 1, the recorded phone call keeps going and no one ever talks with you.
I don't answer numbers I don't recognize unless they call so much, and I am trying to get them to stop calling. Can't the
government do something about these companies calling on our personal phones that we have to pay our monthly bill for
personal use.
Just criminal cowards who tries to steal identities and credit cards.
All the call signs are the same. All of the calls are out of area phone calls, all with weird caller ID's, always automated. All illegal.
Never ever give personal information over the phone. Never. businesses are required by law to send you documentation. telephone scams are the new email spam. There are no free services. You weren't selected, you won't receive anything. Not today, not tomorrow and definitely not the day after that and so on.
Stop falling for these scams by stop providing information. Jst igore the calls. Know the signs. Warm the elderly and others and report.
You will receive many more calls from different numbers almost daily. Just report, warn others.
Caller ID'd as 213 504 70154 CA. No message was left. I called it back and a female said "Press (1) to be removed from their list." If I am registered with DONOTCALL>GOV. why should I be required to do that. They should not be calling to begin with. Scammers.
Don't press any numbers. If you do, it looks like you have initiated business with them. Then it's okay for them to call you back anytime they want to. Well, they will anyway.
I think the first "scam" we fell for is thinking that the Do Not Call list would deter anyone from violating it. If you go there and report numbers, as I have, it always says they don't have the resources to follow up on everyday Do Not Call violators. It just makes a record of people who have reported them if and when they want to prosecute someone from that number for a crime.
Got a call from them at dinner time. I wouldn't answer anyway, because I didn't recognize the number.
To those people who can't resist answering their phone. If you don't recognize the number, try NOT answering your phone just once. If it's important (and not a scammer) they will leave a message. Well, sometimes even the scammers leave messages. Anyway, if I don't recognize the number I NEVER answer the phone. It's easy once you get used to it.
