Received a call from 213 514-6211 yesterday. The punk on the other end said that his name was Frank Savage and that he is a court marshall. He then went into a very aggressive spiel about investigating me for not showing up for Federal court jury duty—saying that I had signed and returned a jury summons a couple of months ago and that I had failed to show up for jury duty. The sphincter was mumbling and difficult to understand, although extremely aggressive in his tone and approach. He said that he was calling on behalf of Federal Court Judge, Mark Cohen. I am in CA and a quick Google search shows Judge Cohen is based out of Atlanta, Georgia. As I started questioning him and his tone, he threatened to send two agents to my house to arrest me. Bottom line, he was trying to swindle me out of $1,500 towards two class-c citations that Judge Cohen had supposedly issued. I think that this scam originated in the South, possibly Georgia and the idiot didn't have enough sense to modify the script.
