Dingbat? Okay, Archie Bunker. If you think that by registering your phone number with www.donotcall.gov you will automatically receive more illegal telemarketing phone calls, then you are one crazy, paranoid human who is in need of some serious assistance.
CALLS COME IN MID AFTERNOON. UNWANTED/UNSOLICITED. I AM ON DO NOT CALL LIST. NO ONE IS ON THE PHONE WHEN YOU PICK UP. IF YOU CALL BACK- AND I MEAN IMMEDIATELY, IT SAYS YOUR TIME TO 'PARTICIPATE IN' A SURVEY HAS EXPIRED. WHAT A SCAM! PLEASE REPORT TO DO NO CALL LIST TOO! NO COMPANY NAME GIVEN AND CAN'T TALK TO A PERSON.
This is the recorded message that asks you to participate in a political survey. After you answer five political questions, you are transferred to a representative with Carnival Cruise Lines to book a cruise. You only have to pay port fees, they say.
They've found a loophole in the law to get around the Do Not Call Registry to call you to solicit business. [***].
It's another scam
they call from all over the US
claiming to be a credit card company or that you won a cruise
they ask for your credit card number
if you call to complain you are on the do not call list and ask who they are
they hang up
just don't answer and report it
