I keep getting these calls in regard to fraud. He states he is from US legal Department. He told me if I didn't return his call, he was going to start legal action against me. He was foreign and I could not understand a word he was saying. I told him I had no ideal what he was talking about, and he said okay and hung up! How can we stop this kind of harassment?
Foreigner telling me he had a legal claim on my name and social security number and email, which was incorrect.
I needed to call him back now to settle whatever he had a claim on.John for US Legal Department. I recieved 2 calls on 2/12/2010, 2:51pm snf 3:23pm. I didn't return his call.
He threatened me with being arrested and going to court.
He called on my cell phone. I have answered calls like this before and they wanted me to send them a letter stating I owed them money. Send them $936 I owed them.
They could not give me the name of the company that put money in my account because the company changed names. They could not send me any documents about what I owed.
John called me on my cell phone and left a message, he was with US Legal Department, and if I didn't return the call I he would file legal complaint against my social security and name in Oklhoma.
I called back and they acted like they didn't even know what I was calling for. John spoke with a foreign accent and I said I couldn't understand him. He handed the phone to someone else named John. He said he was calling about a BGM Payday Loan and I said I don't have a loan with that company and never heard of them. He said ok and hung up!
