I was taking a nap when 213-550-4282 called and I answered the call. After listening to Daniel, I found out his name later, he turned me over to someone who explain the program for me. Another person came and told me he was trying to transfer me over. Then Tom came on, who actually speaks perfect English. He told me this program was for hardship persons only. I explained I didn't have any hardship and that I got my credit card companies to lower my interest to 0%. With that the first person I talked to came on, that was Daniel, ( he was listening to the conversation with Tom) and he was slightly mad that I told him I was having a difficult time paying my bills. He was the one that said that. He appeared to not understand he was leading me and not asking me questions. Maybe now they will understand I don't need there service. I believe if you tell them you don't have a difficult time or a struggle paying your bills they will have no reason to call you again. Give it a try and let us all know.
This is a new number for me, but it's from the same people that have call about 14 time so far so far in the last four days. They use different numbers from California and Arizona, but usually it's the same person but not this time. This time he sounded like he had a Irish accent. Being Irish I hated to shoot him down but I did.

they called and asked for me and I asked what they wanted. he said i am returning call about your credit cards. I said what one? he says we spoke last week but you were busy. i told him bulshit
i haven't spoke to anyone about any credit card. he then said"don't get loud [***]. that is when i ripped into him.. It has to be some sort of scam to get credit card info.
it was a middle eastern accent I believe.
My experience was almost exactly the same as the guy above,
"Phone rang, after saying hello several times and Indian voice said, "Hello, (my name), this is ??? from ????. Then no more talking...I hung up."
However I would not respond when she asked if this was ___ (some distortion of my name) but asked who was calling. She rattled off something unintelligible and quickly asked how I was doing today. I said: "I'm sorry I cannot understand anything you've said" and hung up. In my experience, whenever the call starts out by trying to clearify who they are speaking to (get your name), then try to hide who they are representing (what company) and try to regain control of the questions by quickly ask how I am today. . . it's a telemarketer, so I get rid of them quickly. I called this number back and when someone Indian answered, I asked her 3 times to repeat the name of the company and then thanked her polietly, adding that I just needed to know the name of the company so I could enter it on the website where I was reporting them for calling a number on the "Do Not Call List" for my state. She quickly asked who I was and I just said, "Thanks, you don't need to know" and hung up. Looking back on it now, I probably should have at least tried to get some tech support for my ailing computer while I was at it. Oh, well, Moving on now.
