Thank you. You may have noticed, I don't usually answer unrecognized numbers, but always check 800Notes and am really interested in any info I can glean here. In the past I have had many calls from "police" organizations and have learned not to answer the calls. They are persistent and when you ask them what police they represent they cannot tell you. I don't live in an area that is covered by a police dept., so that is a dead give-away, right off the top. I am protected by sheriff's dept.
12/13/15 14:02 PST Just tried to call, but no ID so no answer. Rolled to voice mail, but no message left. Based on the other 2 previous reports don't want anything to do with them in any case. When and if I want to donate, I will initiate the contact.
This is a Fraudulent Scam Caller. Call your Police Station and you will find out police organizations do not cold call individuals for donations & demand you to commit to a $ to donate & demand you to give them your credit card information immediately to charge a donation.
You won't find them listed on the BBB. These frauds first started cal ling me at the last half of 2014. These callers anger when questioned about the legitimacy of their fraudulent fund raising organization and when I told I them I'll take any donations I want to give directly to my Police Station.
Hang up & block their calls and report them. They will will keep calling you from different numbers.
