A solicitation from DHGate.com, a Chinese wholesale marketplace from which I've made a couple of purchases. It sounded like an actual human being, as my name was used in a non-robotic form, and was advertising their summer sales.
Yes...it is Teleflora. First time that I used them and they messed up the order. I have always used 1-800-FLOWERS before and will go back to them. She said something about a 10% credit and a note of apology.....big deal....the birthday is over.
I'm sorry for the terrible service you received, but as the owner of a small town florist, I'd like to lend you a piece of advice: If you're savvy enough to order flowers online from Teleflora/800-Flowers, take a few extra minutes to search for an ACTUAL LOCAL FLORIST. You'll save yourself the extra service charges, and get much better service. Plus, if the florist actually is too busy to deliver your arrangement you'll know right away. If you have any trouble you can call your local florist and ask them to point you in the right direction of a brick-and-mortar florist in the recipient's area. :)
If it makes anyone feel better, I am a TELEFLORA FLORIST and this number is calling me with no response on the other end. I wish they'd get their act together
