I received a phone call from a man who was very hard to understand (combination of bad connection and heavy accent). He said that he was with a company called Global Exchange and wanted to send me on a all expenses paid vacation to either Las Vegas, NV; San Francisco, CA; Reno, NV; or Lake Tahoe. He also said that I will be flown there via airline service, even though I live within 4-8 hour drive time from any of those locations. The only thing I had to do was attend a 90 minute presentation on Ventura Blvd in Encino, CA. As soon as he said that, I said "No, thanks!" and promptly hung up.
A man with a heavy accent called and said he was from Global Exchange and I stopped him because I have a pay as you go cell phone and I told him he was using my minutes and hung up.
