Called and left a blank message on my voice mail. That is they went to my voice mail but then they must have decided not to leave a message with my voice mail and hung up.
Mine was for satellite TV service, but also no company name was provided in the recording. I called the 800.657.2361 number the message left. The minion who answered said they were calling for Dish Network and that the offer was only good for new customers. I lied and said I was already with Dish, so why did he call me? He apologized and said I was the 5th person today to ask him that. (Hmm, maybe they shouldn't use an autodialer...)
The number the call came from rings through, but you have to know an extension number or name or can press 0 for the operator. Still no mention of a company name, which is usually how call centers roll.
The minion was nice enough and didn't hang up on me, so maybe they really are calling for Dish. If I get a call again, I'll ring up the operator at this call center and see if she can get our office numbers onto their do-not-call list. Imagine how nice it is to have 5 phone numbers getting telemarketing calls that all ring at my phone...Oh yeah, it's awesome :(
