I think the people calling are from an Online College... I tryied looking for a Job resently & they basically wouldn't get off the phone until I said they could send info. & someone could call... BUT I did not realized theses [***] Holes would keep calling instead of leaving a message like I told the guy to do & if I was really interested I would call them back
yes, I was inquiring about on line classes months ago, I can see this being one of those colleges but why do they call, not speak and when I call back it just beeps once and call hangs up?
You can block numbers on Verizon by logging onto their site and viewing your account online. Somewhere on the page it gives you the option to block up to five, I believe it is, numbers. This number has been calling me everyday too. I finally answered yesterday, and it was some bs about continuing my education, and I dog cussed them and told them I had a career and didn't want any more education and to stop calling. But they've already called three times today. Next time I'm going to answer and cuss them like they've never been cussed before. It doesn't really bother me because I can just hit ignore and go on about my business. I figure they'll eventually get tired of no answer or getting cussed out and it'll stop.
I received the same kind of call from the same number, only I posted on FB what this number was about. I turned my phone off to avoid the call before I went to bed, and when I woke up in the morning, I had a voice message on my phone left by a different number, only stating the same reason for calling and quoting that I should "keep their name out of my mouth, and to do as they say."
