I've been getting calls from this number for a while, and finally picked up the last few times. I hear someone there and breathing and then suddenly they hang up... It's gotten pretty annoying so I've blocked the number now.
Very nice Hispanic gentleman who was unctuously polite called and when asked, said he didn't work for a private company, but was calling from Medicare. His phone number showed as US GOVT GSA. The GSA is the procurement arm of the Federal Government and has nothing to do with Medicare or Social Security. He asked if I'd received my Medicare card which he said had been sent, but the date he gave for the mailing was weeks before I signed up. Then he politely asked for info in a persuasively sympathetic voice. I said, "Tell you what, you mail me something and I'll be happy to look it over." This guy was very convincing. WATCH OUT! WRETCHED THIEVES!
Didn't answer ofcourse. Looked up # here & on Google & found several listings showing that # really is for a SSA office on Wilshire, L.A. ..... Why they would be calling me is not known to me ...... Not going to be eleg. for many more years. Hhhhhmmmmm ....... could be spoofed CID???
