Beware off thi scam Google IRS phone scams look it up on line people have to call the FBI or the cops and report them here the number to report them at this The US general 1800 366 4488. They people read a whole story about we going to jail law suit freeze bank acount fake case number all this to scare older people they use a spoof number if u get this call don't call back report them.
These folks called and left a message to call back. Upon calling back, was threatened as if I owed taxes. This is a scam company that manned with a bunch of scum of the earth. Do not even return their call.
I called the number back and the man who answered claimed he is from "Treasury Dept, Legal Division" and his name is Mike Brown. He has a slight "Indian" accent and I could hear background noises like it's a 'boiler room call-center'.
I told him that this was a 'scam call' and he responded" So, what are going to do about it?"
I'm really pi$$#d and want to know how I can report it this to the proper authorities bec I know there would be people who would be scared (It scared my wife!).
I received a call today from 213-784-2829 regarding Tax Evasion...same call I received yesterday from 619-798-8166....I went to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and filed a complaint...probably will do no good but they are obviously Not the US Government and complaints should be filed...I could not find a way to file with the Treasury but you can with the IRS or the FTC....I did receive an Email back from FTC that they received my complaint
I hate that these people try to Scare people....especially us older ones !!!
