Some scammer, said something about law suit. Prerecorded message. The key phrase is "help us to help you" .I've heard the same phrase from other scammers before.
Just got the call from this number. Some guy from the US Treasury. If I don't respond, they will bring a lawsuit against me...for what exactly, I don't know. It was a pre-recorded message. More crap.
Caller stated she was from US Treasury Department. She transfer me to her supervisor.He said he was Officer Steve Parker badge #LR 1988 and that an arrest warrant was placed against me. They wanted cash and I would be given a voucher proving I paid IRS. They threatened they would send an officer to pick me up and I would be jailed for 6 months minimum. When I asked questions they hung up.
Just got a call- demanding I owe money on taxes (I don't even work). Asked for proof and they said they are sending two officers to my house to show proof and arrest me for 6 months. Seriously? Freaked me out but then saw all these posts so apparently everything is a scam and don't answer if you see this number!!
