Wanted me to sign up for a low price when I combine my gas and hydro and sign up with them. Seriously hard to believe that my fuel costs would drop to a 5th of what I pay now. I guess phone centers are cheaper than the door to door salesmen that pester me with half truths every spring/summer. Can't see how a 213 area code which is California (with someone who had very poor English skills), can offer legitimate business services for someone who is on the other side of the continent.
We, too, received a similar call to the one described by Kerry above. The price offered to combine both bills was too good to be true ($99.00 per month).
When asked where the company was located, the telemarketer answered that he "could not divulge that information".
Calling up to six times a day same as above if they wanted to get on touch with you they would leave a massage. I didn't start getting calls like this till I started getting online looking at job ads trying to find a job . I guess your name gets put on a scam list ?
