If it's that Vehicle Warranty Center, they've changed their number again..... This time, caller id said it was 'Perfect Pitch', must mean it's the perfect sales pitch. Not so perfect if you don't answer! Let the call go to the answering machine, but no message. Another number to add to the call blocker.....
It is a company that identifies themselves as The Vehicle Warranty Center . . . a fraudulent telemarketing company.
I reported them to the FTC. As everyone should (National Do Not Call Registry) when the FTC tracks them down they will be fined $11,000 per each call that is reported and will possibly do jail time if it is severe enough.
And they will get fined for the Fraudulent caller ID "Perfect Pitch" too!
So report them . . . https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
Woman said their records indicate my vehicle warranty has expired. I told her my number was on the national do not call registry and requested her company name. She cheerily said 'have a nice day' and hung up.
I ordered something online from Sears and gave my work number as the contact. This was right before Thanksgiving and now I am receiving calls from this number.
