Just got a weird call from

First, I did not notice that the number had too many digets.
When I answered the phone, a man in broken English answered back, "hello? Hello? Are you there?"
"Yes. How can I help you?" I snapped back, assuming this man had no business calling me.
"Hi yes. I am calling about your windows machine."
"Yes?"
"Hi yes. We have been receiving an errors message from your windows machine in our system..."
I pause for a second and reply,
"I don't believe you."
To which the man on the line replied,
"I don't believe you too."
*click*
He hung up on me!
I'm still confused.
